In July 2022, Domaine de Béquignol celebrated its 50th anniversary.
Half a century of history, expertise and passion for enhancing a fruit that is emblematic of our beautiful Périgord region: the walnut.
It all began in 1972, when Claude Ginèbre – my father – decided to set up an artisan business on the family estate, with a simple but powerful ambition: to promote the riches of his native region through delicious, authentic products.
The first creations were walnut and fruit-based spirits, made in the pure artisanal tradition. I am deeply moved when I share an image from that time: my grandfather helping to remove the greengages from a smoking copper cauldron, and the very first promotional leaflets from the 1970s, evidence of a family commitment that was already well established.
Even today, this heritage guides our every action. And we are proud to continue this tradition, adapting it to the expectations of your customers and your shops.
